The foundation was established by estate owner Thorkil Fleuron Dahl in 1966 and is a commercial foundation that owns Valnæsgaard.
Purpose
The purpose of the foundation is:
- to award grant portions or financial support to the founder’s descendants and their spouses
- to preserve the memory of the founder and his family, employees who are or have been affiliated with Valnæsgaard, close relations of the family, and charitable purposes.
